About this publication

Corporate information

Iamtheone is an independent reading project about corporate conduct in Canada. It is not a company registry, a certifier, or a spokesperson for any firm named in a note.

What this site is for

The pages are long notes for users in Canada who want to read past a sustainability slogan. They cover environmental claims, philanthropy, board practice, and stewardship. They are not a listing of companies for sale, and they do not take donations, grants, or offset purchases.

Names of regulators, standards, and communities appear because the source notes discuss them. Mentioning the Competition Bureau, the Canada Revenue Agency, a stock exchange, a certification, or an Indigenous people does not mean this publication belongs to them or speaks for them.

Editorial principles

Each note keeps the facts, scores, and cautions of its source. We do not add licences, client lists, enforcement outcomes, or partnership claims that were not in the material. Scores in a table are the scores written in that review. They are an average picture of a market, not a new grade for a named firm.

Questions that the source already asks stay in the review and open again in the FAQ. Photographs sit between finished paragraphs. They show landscapes and people in those pictures. They are not evidence of a company’s operations.

How the notes are prepared

A short table collects the comparisons already present in the text. The review that follows is continuous prose, set for a long read. On-page tools only rearrange tests, models, or scores that the same note already prints. They do not search a registry, store a profile, or issue a certificate.

Limits

Laws, disclosure rules, tax treatment, and corporate reports change. A score, a percentage of emissions, or a description of a tax deduction is a statement from the review, not a live legal opinion. Confirm a filing, a certification, or a consent process with the body that actually holds it.

This site does not provide investment advice, employment advice, or a substitute for reading a primary report. Skepticism in the notes is part of the source text. It is not a finding against a company that the notes do not name.

No public contact desk is listed

This publication does not print a street address, telephone number, registration number, or email address, because none was supplied for it. Questions about a company’s report belong with that company. Questions about a page can only be read against the page itself.
